Information We Collect

• Purchase information. When you buy a license, our payment processor (Creem) handles payment and provides us with your email, order details, and license status. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Device and activation data. When you activate LookInside, we receive a device identifier, hardware model, and app bundle ID. These are used to manage license bindings and enforce per-device limits. Activation sessions are carried in stateless tokens and are not stored on our servers.
• Certificate data. As part of the activation flow, we issue and manage X.509 intermediate certificates tied to your license. Certificate identifiers and expiry dates are stored to support local license validation.
• Support communication. If you contact support at support@lookinside-app.com, we receive the messages you send along with any information you choose to include.

What We Do Not Collect

LookInside operates entirely on your device. It communicates with your target app over local TCP (Simulator) or USB. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your app's view hierarchy data, screenshots, debug attributes, or any content you inspect through the Software.

How We Use Information

• To deliver licenses, process refunds, and provide customer support.
• To manage activation sessions, device bindings, and local license validation.
• To prevent license abuse and enforce per-device trial limits.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers required to operate the activation service and deliver the Software, including our payment processor (Creem) and hosting provider (Cloudflare). We do not sell personal information.

Security

License activation uses stateless HMAC-signed tokens. Certificate issuance uses RSA-2048 keys anchored to a trusted root. All communication with lookinside-app.com is over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Retention

Purchase records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law. Device bindings and certificate leases are retained for the duration of your license. Support conversations are kept as long as needed to resolve the issue and for a reasonable period thereafter.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
